GSA BROKER CONTRACT

FORD provided Post Award Project Management Support to for the GSA NBC 1, NBC2 and GLS Broker Contracts.  Working as a subconsultant for several major real estate firms that provide tenant representation, capital markets, project management, workforce/incentives and workplace strategy/occupant experience, FORD provided technical staff to deliver post award project management services in support of GSA to multiple tenant agencies in GSA Regions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 11.  Our Team provides post award services to assist GSA in the documentation, and oversight of the landlord buildout and delivery of the lease space including amortized tenant improvements and accompanying lump sum alterations associated for the initial buildout.  Specific tasks include but are not limited to: Design Intent Drawings (DID’s) and Construction Drawings (CD’s) coordination and review, review and negotiation of tenant improvement pricing, review and oversight of project schedule, monitoring lease deliverables required by the Lessor, conducting progress inspections of construction, review and negotiation of any project change orders, and performing onsite acceptance inspection.

General Services Administration (GSA); Department of Homeland Security (DHS)

FORD provided Project Management Support Services to GSA DC Service Center for the renovation and upgrade of the DHS-Nebraska Avenue Complex (NAC). To enhance the functionality of the campus a variety of projects were completed including the 13,000 SF third floor interior tenant renovations at NAC 17, installation of security systems in NAC 100, Chief Security Officer (CSO) Office build-out in NAC 50 West, and the NAC 4 and NAC 14 cafeteria projects which were completed as design/build projects.

Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)

FORD was responsible for the programming, planning, coordination, and management phases of Furniture, Fixture and Equipment (FF&E) procurement activities from FF&E category planning to post installation and commissioning for CFPB’s renovation of its 500K SF Headquarters Building in Washington DC.  FORD’s Team served as the acting liaison between the CFPB and the GSA facilitating implementation of the CFPB program.
